SURFACE PREPARATION
Diamond Dust Paint should be applied on solid, durable and even surfaces. The surface must be clean, dry and free from dirt, grease and other substances impacting the adhesive capacity. Before applying the paint, a thoroughly dried and seasoned surface should be primed with Francesco GUARDI latex primer paint in the Diamond Dust Paint color. Fresh cement and cement-lime plasters should be primed after approx. 4 weeks and gypsum plasters after approx. 2 weeks from completion. Skim coats and surfaces in drywall systems must be cleaned from dust and primed, e.g. with the Fixgrunt U primer. The wall should not leave any traces of white dust when rubbed with the hand. If necessary, prime with Fixgrunt U twice, then, after an appropriate interval, paint with Francesco GUARDI latex primer paint in the Diamond Dust Paint color. Walls covered with wallpaper: remove the wallpaper thoroughly; wash the glue layer with painter’s soap and let dry completely. Spots covered with mold or fungi should be cleaned mechanically and disinfected with the Biotox Total algaecide and fungicide. You may begin decorating with the Diamond Dust Paint after the latex primer paint has dried, i.e. approximately 6 hours after finishing painting, if drying under optimal conditions (temperature +200°C, humidity 60%). The better the surface preparation, the better the final result.

APPLICATION METHOD
Depending on the effect you want to achieve, paint the base dried after priming with different painting equipment, such as: String roller: apply the paint with a string roller with a max. width of 15 cm, fleece thickness approx. 12 mm, in short, irregular cross movements in all directions to cover the entire base. After the first layer has dried, i.e. after at least 2 hours, apply the second layer of paint in the same manner as the first. Paintbrush: apply the paint with a flat paintbrush, with the size depending on the effect you want to achieve. Dip the paintbrush in paint, remove the excess amount and apply directly on the base in movements at your own choosing, depending on the effect you want to achieve.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Perform decorative works with the Diamond Dust Paint with surface and ambient temperatures between +10°C and +25°C, avoiding direct sunlight, both during
